Do you want to contribute to ensuring that residents of Lund with mental disabilities receive the right support at the right time? We are now looking for an experienced social secretary for the Investigation Unit for Social Psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities

As a social secretary within the Investigation Unit for Social Psychiatry, you will investigate, assess, decide on, and follow up on measures for adults with mental disabilities in accordance with the Social Services Act. The assignment includes, among other things, the municipality's responsibility for housing, employment, and other support measures that can contribute to a functioning daily life.

In social psychiatry in Lund, we work from a recovery perspective. It is important that the individuals we serve receive elastic, high-quality support adapted to their own needs. The work involves extensive collaboration with psychiatry, other external actors, and close cooperation between different units within the administration. As support in your assignment, you have, in addition to the unit manager and experienced colleagues, a senior social secretary, administrative support, and external supervision.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and several years of experience in authority practice. You also have experience in social work with the target group of social psychiatry.

To thrive in the role, you need to be secure in your professional assessment and able to work independently within the framework of the assignment. You have good ability to plan, prioritize, and structure your work. You work efficiently under stress, can balance different demands, and maintain calm in difficult situations. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions.

You actively contribute to the group's joint work and are interested in developing working methods, routines, and processes together with colleagues and management. You also seize opportunities to think new thoughts and keep yourself updated through environmental monitoring.

The work involves a lot of documentation, which places high demands on administrative ability, system familiarity, and the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have education and further training in areas such as social psychiatry, MI (Motivational Interviewing), recovery perspective, co-morbidity, and violence in close relationships.
